Get Involved with CHOICES as a Parent

These days there are not many jobs tougher than being a parent. With all of the external factors distracting our teens, it is no wonder keeping them focused on their education sometimes seems an impossible task. In fact, CHOICES was founded by a father facing this same struggle.

You may be wondering, “How can I get my teen into CHOICES?”

The CHOICES workshop is delivered in schools. So, check with your school to see if they have, or plan to have, CHOICES delivered in your teen’s classroom. If not, you have the opportunity to bring your educators and business community together and make an impact.

CHOICES is often successfully managed by a local chamber of commerce, service club, or business that has access to the business volunteers the workshop engages. Contact your local chamber or service club and let them know about CHOICES. Consider having your school PTA raise the funds to sponsor CHOICES for your school’s classrooms. At an average cost of less than $5 per student, it will be a great investment. Then ask the chamber or your service club to coordinate the rest!
